The Freiberger  (“Free Mountaineer”)

For generations Switzerland has been associated with top quality, strength, and dependability; Victorinox; Lindt; Rolex; and UBS bank of Switzerland. Horses have also been produced here in much the same manner – enter the Freiberger, the horse of the mountains. Much pride has been taken in the development of this hardy, intelligent equine. To this day strict guidelines are followed, ensuring the breed remains as pure as the mountainous areas they call home. Once very hard to acquire, we now provide the means in which North Americans can now enjoy the Freiberger.

  Due to his ability to learn quickly and his intention to performance, the Freiberger can adapt to almost every unusual situation. Because of his stoutness, it is very easy to maintain. Its great endurance and strong back make it tough enough for long rides even with heavy loads.
